Production Day- April 7, 2010

Today we finalized our production of our video. Everyone, in this group, attended this meeting, as did a fellow Champlain Student. (In which we had a release formed signed)

Denise, James, John, and CampChamp student- took roles in part of the filming process. As characters 1, 2, 3, & 4.

Jessie-Filmed the video, and took part in the setting up process.

Denise brought in our finalized script, which was neatly organized in different colors per character.

John also provided means for sound and will be going over the film this weekend, cutting and editing the film to its final format.

James brought in the video camera, and other props used for the short film. Also, he rented a tri-pod which we didn't end up needing, but the effort to be prepared was there!

During our shooting process, James was yelled at momentarily by a women who worked in the cafeteria. She was intimidating him about why he had a tray. It brought about a lot of humor as he joked with her about how he brought it everywhere with him. Haha. She was not joking. It made us realize that Champlain really is about not partaking in using trays, as she antagonized him about how he was going to consume all of the food he was holding. Needless to say, we all had a great laugh.

We had to get a few runs in with collaborating the video around everyone's needs in familiarizing themselves with the script, as well as dealing with unwanted sounds and other malfunctions, as the upset cafeteria lady. :)

It was a lot of fun for us all to get together, and afterwards view a "rough-draft" of what we were able to come up with in the end of our meeting. (As well as consume all of the food James had, so we weren't being wasteful)

After another day of editing, and wrapping up our project, we will be in full force next week, preparing to finish the video project.

Next week we will be posting our script, as well as our POWER TOOLS to our AMSC blogspot.
